Frost 3D Universal Upgrade: New Product Line in 2018

In 2018 we are launching the new commerce Frost 3D Universal software product line. We took into account the heightened interest of educational institutions, academic communities, R&D centers and small engineering companies, and now Frost 3D Universal will become more affordable for users.

The new product line is also optimized with respect to its functional features considering the software usage statistics during the past 3 years and aimed to satisfy more users with regard to price/functional features ratio. The special bonus is that all the versions will include Filtration plugin.

Max number of cells in computational mesh is 1 million. 3 GB RAM + 1 GB main application memory required. Computation is processed on a single core CPU. With Filtration plugin.

Multicore CPU Standard

Max number of cells in computational mesh is 7 million. 11 GB RAM + 1 GB main application memory required.

Up to 8x* acceleration (depending on the number of cores in the CPU), compared with a single core CPU version. With Filtration plugin.

Multicore CPU Unlimited

Max number of cells in computational mesh is unlimited.
32 GB RAM for computational mesh with 50 million cells. Video memory more than 4 GB is required.Up to 8x* acceleration (depending on the number of cores in the CPU), compared with a single core CPU version. With Filtration plugin.

Multicore GPU

Filtration plugin is required for ground simulation under high flow velocities (dams, dikes, complex hydrological conditions), including ground water convective heat transfer.
